Dr Evelyn Chia is a qualified gynaecologist and obstetrician serving women on Sydney’s North Shore. Born in Singapore and trained in Australia, she combines an exceptional level of expertise in her chosen fields with a natural compassion and understanding of her patients’ needs.

In 2000, Dr Evelyn Chia graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Science. She gained experience in pediatrics and surgery during a stint at the Prince of Wales Hospital, before specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Westmead Hospital. She trained in laparoscopic surgery at the Royal North Shore and Mater Hospitals.

Since 2006, she has also undertaken teaching and mentoring commitments, including an Associate Lecturer role at the University of Sydney, as well as training junior doctors in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Having been brought up amidst the cultural melting pot of Singapore before coming to Australia, Dr Evelyn Chia knows how important it is to feel comfortable when discussing personal health matters. Patients can speak with her in English, Cantonese or Mandarin, whichever language they feel most relaxed in.

Importantly, they can rest assured that Dr Evelyn Chia will treat them as a person, not just a number. Whether it’s a heavy, painful period or a high-risk pregnancy, Dr Evelyn Chia listens carefully and asks insightful questions, in order to provide her patients with healthcare that truly cares for the individual.

虽然我行医多年,但我觉得我一生最大的成就是,拥有默默支持我、爱我的丈夫与为我提供无限欢 乐的两个美丽儿子。
